Los Abogados

Founded in 1976 by Latino lawyers and law students, Los Abogados is Arizona’s Hispanic Bar Association. The organization was created to build community, expand opportunity, and support the advancement of the Latino community through the legal profession.

Los Abogados serves as a professional home for attorneys, judges, law students, and legal professionals across Arizona. Through programming, mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, the organization works to strengthen the legal profession and increase Latino representation within it.

Los Abogados supports its members through continuing legal education, networking opportunities, social and family events, and signature gatherings that bring the legal community together. It also helps develop future legal leaders through initiatives such as the Pipeline Fellowship Program and the Los Abogados Mentorship Program.

Today, Los Abogados continues to advance connection, leadership, service, and opportunity within Arizona’s legal community. Its work reflects the belief that a stronger and more inclusive legal profession benefits both its members and the broader community.
